Four decades. Three continents. Organisations from Arthur Andersen and Network General to PwC US, China/Hong Kong, and Asia Pacific. I have learned for myself that the most consequential leadership challenges are not problems to be solved. They are paradoxes to be navigated.
Over my career, I have designed and led learning experiences for every level of an organisation — from new hires to senior partners — across classroom, virtual, and large-scale cross-border formats. I led the PwC China and Hong Kong Learning & Development function, building a team of 130 professionals and sitting on the firm's executive leadership team with responsibility for all internal functions, reporting to the board of directors. Most recently, I led partner development across Asia Pacific, working directly with the Asia Pacific Human Capital leader on the regional executive team.

“I will always remember you as one of the most courageous, gentle, smart, innovative learning leaders in my whole career.” – Managing director, Business Management Consulting firm, Australia
“You can be proud of inspiring and encouraging 1000s of people across the globe, A truly incredible legacy and one which will live on.” – Senior partner, leading Professional Services Firm, Hong Kong/China
At the centre of the Paradox Leadership Compass™ is the Compassionate Driver™ — the conviction that kindness is not the opposite of high performance. It is the condition for it.
Working with individuals at all levels across the globe taught me this: the leaders who struggle most with paradoxes are rarely the weakest in the room. They are often the strongest — credible, results-driven, and trusted. But their capacity to navigate competing demands to lead with both clarity and humanity under pressure had never been developed.
That realisation changed everything about how I work — and ultimately why Paradox Facilitators exists. Today, my work focuses on helping leaders strengthen the human core that makes paradox navigation possible — so they can lead with clarity when others choose sides.
Paradox Facilitators is my answer to address the Paradox Impasse™. It is built on a simple but consequential conviction: that the capacity to hold competing truths simultaneously — to lead with both clarity and humility, both boldness and care, both global vision and local accountability — is not a personality trait some leaders are born with. It is a learnable, practical, and developable capability, and it may be the most important one leaders need today.
If you're leading in complexity — or standing at a moment that will define what comes next — we should talk.
